five years in the making, and the first duo recordings -- a very, very calculated and controlled effort which is to be heard as one long piece, each track being parts of the whole. moving past the harsh noise cut-ups but not eschewing them entirely; rather, moving forward to areas of sound collage, musique-concrete, field recording and electroacoustic, every sound strategically placed in the narrative. at the core of each track rests layers of cold, minimal electronic drones, which form the skeleton of the album. the progression continues.
